How to To Post
March 16, 2008
If you wish to leave a comment, you simply click on the word “Comment(s)” below the blog post to which you want to respond. I believe that you are required to enter a name and email address in order to post your comment. Your comments and questions are welcomed. More interaction here allows for a broader educational effort. One author with no comments is much less effective than several authors with a common purpose responding to and assisting vistors.
If you wish to be an author or editor, you must first go to WordPress.com and register using your name and an email address. You should not request your own personal blog. There is a button to fill in requesting only to register with WordPress. Remember the email address with which you registered. After you have registered, contact Shawn at kimballs@glenburn.net. Hopefully, if you wish to be an author, you are already involved in our user group or have already posted some of your comments demonstrating that you will be an asset to our effort to help educators better understand open source opportunities.
We are looking for others to add content to help teachers and school system decision-makers understand and better utilize FLOSS (free/libre open source software).
Thanks for your interest. Your thoughts and comments are always welcome.

I think this is a great idea, as it will continue to be available long after our class ends. The educators in this class have become great resources, and having this blog will although for those connections to continue as well as our useful and informative discussions.
